About Dr. Taub

Neal Taub, MD, is the medical director of Charlotte Ketamine Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. His background in pain management led him to evidence-based, FDA-approved ketamine treatments for chronic pain as well as many psychological conditions. 

Dr. Taub graduated magna cum laude with his bachelor’s degree from the University of California, San Diego. He went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine at the Baylor University College of Medicine in Houston. He served his internship at AMI Presbyterian Denver Hospital before returning to Houston to complete his residency training at Baylor University. 

Dr. Taub presented or published his work at more than 15 conferences including the American College of Rehabilitation Medicine and the Association of Academic Physiatrists. He has also been honored with the P/SL Foundation Grant for medical research as well as the Lewis Leavitt Award for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Dr. Taub is committed to providing safe, evidence-based therapies that work. For example, as many as a third of patients living with depression have treatment-resistant depression, which means that traditional treatments don’t relieve their symptoms.
